Chief Financial Officer

Join Us as Our Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Salary: $150,000 - $170,000

Are you ready to lead the financial helm of a dynamic organization? We're seeking a visionary CFO to steer our financial strategies, shape growth forecasts, and drive excellence across our financial landscape. Join us at The Villages of Indiana, Inc., and The Villages of Indiana Foundation, where innovation meets impact.

This position will require regular travel to the Indianapolis office as well as occasional travel to the Bloomington office. CANDIDATE MUST RESIDE IN THE STATE OF INDIANA.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Leadership: Chart the course for our financial future by analyzing trends, identifying strengths and weaknesses, and crafting astute strategies for organizational growth.

Compliance and Oversight: Ensure adherence to finance regulations, lead organizational system designs, and play a pivotal role in the Revenue Cycle process.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with our leadership team, serve as a liaison to our Board of Directors, closely collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer to track and report financial statuses of grants and contracts, and play a pivotal role in optimizing the Revenue Cycle process to maximize organizational resources and financial efficiency.

Team Empowerment: Oversee and nurture our Business Department, driving excellence in Accounting, Finance, Payroll, and Property Management.

Foundation Financial Management: Take the reins of financial management for The Villages of Indiana Foundation, overseeing budget preparation, tax return filings, financial statements, audits, and monthly transactions.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, management, finance or related field from an accredited institution.

Experience: Seven years experience in finance with three years in direct managerial roles, including a strong background in nonprofit accounting and compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: Master’s degree in business or related field.

Certification: CPA license.

Experience: Previous tenure as a CFO.
