MIECHV Clinician

Department: Healthy Families
Location: Indianapolis, IN

MIECHV Clinician – Healthy Families

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000

The MIECHV Clinician will work in our Healthy Families program to provide clinical oversight and support to the program. This role will conduct trainings, provide and document mental health consultations, participate in home visiting services, and Continuous Quality Improvement. The role supports the agency’s mission, viion, goals, and objections.

As our new MIECHV Clinician, you will:

  • Review all newly enrolled MIECHV-funded families

  • Identify families as clinical high risk as evidenced by elevated Family Resource and Opportunities for Growth (FROG) scores, positive Interpersonal Violence (IPV) screens, or elevated scores on depression screening tools or families identified by home visitors or supervisors as conditions or situations arise

  • Provide individual consultation to each home visitor serving MIECHV-funded families for the purpose of

  • Monitor and identify trends related to mental health concerns for families and home visitors, including reporting concerns to program management. Clinician should bring high risk and/or safety concerns to the attention of the supervisor immediately.

  • Participate in mental health consultation and reflective supervision related trainings that shall build skills of the Clinician as offered by DCS, Infancy Onward, or other entities.

  • Participate in evaluation of mental health consultation services as requested by program management or DCS.

  • Participate in evaluation of home visiting services or MIECHV-funded activities as requested by program management or DCS.

  • Assist with other Villages of Indiana programs and/or creation of new programs as needed

Position Requirements:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in social work, psychology, marriage and family, or related human service field

  • Current license issued by the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board as an LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC

  • Evidence receipt of monthly reflective supervision related to activities as mental health consultant.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of two years previous experience in either foster care or social services

  • Infant Mental Health Specialist Endorsement (IMHS)

  • Facilitating Attuned Interactions (FAN) training
